How to Lose Your Gut

Low-Calorie. They say it's simple. They say it's the "only" way. Eat fewer calories than you use. Sounds easy enough, right? But science tells a different story. This type of dieting burns muscle, too! Not only that, but weight loss is initially slowed because low-cal dieting dramatically slows your metabolism. In addition, this kind of diet leaves you feeling hungry and is usually not sustainable beyond a week or two.

Stop wasting time, pick a diet that is healthy, has worked well for others, is nutritionally complete and will help you get your gut gone..:-) We recommend Medifast with great success to many of our readers as it's low in calories, tastes great and has helped over 1 MILLION folks lose weight - but WHAT you choose may be less important than simply making a choice and sticking with it.

Most people really don't know how to lose the gut without turning into a rabbit and what guy would be out with his buddies and order a salad?? Lets face it your buddies would rag you down to the ground!The time thing is easy all you have to do is go for a walk for 45 minutes 3 times a week that's all. You can join a gym and try going an hour a night to look like Arnold but how long is that really going to last? If you eat right and walk 45 minutes 3 times a week you will lose your gut fast I promise!

Design your own diet! Why let someone else tell you what to eat? Choose your favorite natural, metabolism-stoking foods and create an 11-day menu using these foods. You will be eating MORE THAN 3 times a day. Doing so will get your metabolism burning white hot, melting your body fat like a blowtorch! At about the 11 day mark, however, it will begin to plateau. That's when you move on to step 2.

Then start going for a walk/jog/run once a day, depending on your current fitness levels. Don't cheat yourself here and go for a walk even though you only need to lose a few lbs. You know what you are capable of, and if you find walking around your house a challenge, then obviously you need to start with walking first.

When my wife was diagnosed with Diabetes her nutritionist instructed her to eat five to six smaller meals a day to help keep her glucose levels down. It worked for her diabetes but also helped her to lose weight. What happens is that our metabolism works more effectively when we eat less at any given session. So in order to eat less each time you just eat more often with smaller portions and your body kicks in to help beat the battle of the bulge.

If you want to know how to lose a gut quickly, providing you have no underlying health conditions, a very restrictive diet for a few days may well help to kick-start your campaign-just don't do this for too long. In the long run, a healthy eating plan, based on fresh, low fat, low sugar foods is the way to go. There is some belief that consuming very low fat dairy foods can specifically target belly fat and although this is yet to be proven, there is no harm in eating foods from this group providing you check out the sugar content.

Well, my 33" pants turned to 34" and later 36" in the waist. One day, driving home from the zoo with the family, my wife pointed at my growing belly as it protruded over the seat belt in our family hauling minivan and she said, "so how big are you going to let that thing get before you do something about it?". My once flat stomach had become "that thing". What a horrible wake up call.

To begin this drill simply stand with your feet at about shoulder width apart in length. From here you are going to crouch down to place your hands on the ground in front of you and walk out on your hands to extend your body into an upright push up position. Once you are into the upright push up position then simply lower yourself down onto your forearms bringing your body into a plank. Once you get into the plank simply pick yourself back up into the push up position and walk back on your hands to the crouched position and stand back up.
